Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Raleigh, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Bazil Indian Cuisine in Raleigh proved to be a nice dinner spot on our return to Charlotte from RTP. We visited for dinner on a weekend, but it wasn’t very busy. For food and drinks, we got: Fiery Masala Murgh: A delicious chicken appetiser to start our mealβ€”it was spicy enough to get us started with our meal Dhaba Style Chicken: Their take on the dhaba style chicken served in the dhabas of India, it was a good try despite them falling short of the authentic taste Garlic Naans: These tasted pretty fresh, and were a nice accompaniment to the meal Chai: The chai was amazing! Lassi: The mango lassi was great too, not very different from how it tastes in other desi restaurants. The service was prompt and polite. One of the servers seemed quite anxious and kept asking if we had received the lassi that we ordered lol. But it was all good. Their other menu items are your regular items that you’d find in a desi restaurant. There’s sufficient parking outside. Restrooms are available inside and were clean when we visited. Overall I had a great experience and highly recommend you visit if you’re in the area.

I honestly wish I could give this restaurant more than five stars because they truly deserve it! We come here every time we get the chance, and sometimes we even bring our friends along with usβ€”and every visit has been wonderful. The food is always absolutely amazing, fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and the service is consistently excellent. The owners and manager, Ms. Arti and Mr. Abhi are such kind and welcoming people. Mr. Abhi is such a kind and wonderful gentleman and he always gives us excellent service. Ms. Arti is such a sweet and kind lady and also gives us excellent service. Their hospitality and the way they treat us their customers make every visit even more special. This is truly one of our favorite restaurants we have ever been too and we will continue coming back. If I could rate this place higher than five stars, I absolutely would!❀️100% I recommend!!πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hidden Gem Alert: Bazil is the Best Indian Restaurant I’ve Ever Experienced Sometimes the best dining experiences happen completely by accident, and that’s exactly how we discovered Bazil. My husband suggested Indian food for dinner, and as we happened to be driving past, I glanced over and wondered what was in that shopping center. We had already passed it and actually had to turn around to come back, and I am so incredibly glad we did. Whenever I try a new Indian restaurant, I always order Chicken Tikka Masala. It’s my benchmark dish and my way of evaluating an Indian restaurant. I’ve traveled extensively and have eaten at countless Indian restaurants across the country, so I don’t make this statement lightly: Bazil has the best Chicken Tikka Masala I have ever had. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and absolutely unforgettable. I also ordered the Paneer Naan, and somehow they managed to set a new standard there too. It was hands-down the best naan I’ve ever tasted. My husband and I decided to try a couple of mocktails as well. He ordered the Mint-Nimbu Soda, a traditional Indian favorite, and I chose the Lychee Rose Mojito. Both were fantastic, but the Lychee

From the moment my husband and I arrived in the parking the aroma of authentic Indian cuisine was clear. We dined at Bazil for the first time yesterday and let me tell you it was nothing less than perfection. Immediately entering we felt welcomed, the atmosphere was amazing, it felt like India, the staff was wonderful from the hostess to our server to the bartender who personally brought the drinks to our table. The food is out of this world and hands down the best Indian cuisine we have ever tasted. We have traveled to several cities trying different Indian restaurants and let’s just say Bazil is definitely our favorite. 10 out of 10 and absolutely 5 stars. We stuffed ourselves because we could not stop eating the food. My husband ordered more drinks because we didn’t want to leave. We ate, we drank, we laughed. One of the staff offered to take out pics as we were trying to captivate our time there. We ordered food to go and absolutely can’t wait to eat at Bazil again. Cora and Boye
